Edinburgh - 3 September: Helen John was arrested for writing truthful statements where all of Scotland could see them, on the High Court and visitor's center for the new Scottish Parliament in Edinburgh.
On the anniversary of the day World War II started for Scotland, Helen wrote: BAN TRIDENT, BAN DEPLETED URANIUM, RECOGNIZE INTERNATIONAL HUMANITARIAN LAW, etc.
Helen was sent to Holloway Women's prison without bail because she would not swear to the judge not to do such a thing again. She will be tried October 19.
