Edmunds joins council
We have worked with her for years and now it's official; peace colleague Polly Edmunds has graciously agreed to serve as a member of the Laurentian Shield Council.
We've been arrested alongside Polly, been in many courtrooms with her,
been inspired by her passionate talks at peace events and have appreciated
her quiet and cheerful competence at every turn. Polly was a driving force
in various peace movement groups for years in the Minneapolis/St. Paul
region and, for the last decade, in northern Wisconsin. She's a good organizer
and a good friend and we thank her.
