Advent 2006

Speaking Gigs for Jerry Ebner to speak at Parishes, Organizations in the hope of Raising Funds and the Awareness of the plight of the homeless in Omaha.

Volunteers to be here during the day and Evening Hours: Please give us a call. Come by to Visit and enjoy the company and a meal.

Visitors to share in Liturgy and Potlucks on December 14 (Thurs) and December 28(Thurs) at 6:00 pm.

Potluck/Liturgies in January will be on Tuesdays at 6:00 pm. More details later.

Music Lovers: Benefit Concert at Holy Family Church December 9th for the Omaha Catholic Worker: Featuring Michael Murphy and Steve Jacobs $5.00 donation to get in. . . Needed: Workers to work at Tables in Church: More details later.

Casserole Makers: Provide a meal for a family of 6 plus yourselves. Call Jerry 502- 5887 and ask for a date.

Prayers -------- to keep alert and faithful to the Season of Advent and the
Feast of the Nonviolent Christ Child

Christmas presents for 5 Men: New Hats, Winter Coats, Gloves, Wool socks.

Anything wrapped special that a Man would like for Christmas.

Ornaments for our Tree: We already have lights! Thanks to Creighton University
Medical Center!

Food items: Meats: Hams, Turkeys Chickens, Pastas, Rice, Beans, Cold Cereals, Milk,
Coffee, Tea, Fresh Vegetables, Gift Certificates from Baker’s and No Frills.

Toiletries for Men: Shaving Cream, Toothbrushes, Toothpaste, Razors; Bar Soap; Shampoo, Hair Conditioner.

Bed Frames: (3) Metal or Wooden Twin Size

Twin Mattresses (2) Twin Size

Towel Racks: (6)

Door Lock and hasp (1) for Linen closet.

Live-In Volunteers: Give us a call

Money to pay the Rent/ Utilities: Our Bank account has a balance of $1000.

Volunteers: Electrician, House sitters with Guests; Computer Wiz with Experience with
Web Sites and Email Newsletters; Music-Piano Teachers; Various small Tasks at every house that need to be done.
