THE
OMAHA
CATHOLIC
WORKER
COMMUNITY

Greetings to Friends of the Omaha Catholic Worker:

New Happenings

Mike Brennen has been with us for about a year and he will now be following his heart and calling to go back to Southeast Asia to work with NGO’s in India with the Marianist Community there. Mike will be leaving us for India some time in March or April.

Robert Bick, 65, from La Crosse, Wisconsin has been looking forward to joining a Catholic Worker community for many years. He visited with us for a few weeks and we shared ideas and visions of the OCW along with his dreams and goals. We then invited him to share a six-month internship with us starting March 16 as a new community member.

Our Guests

Mark, Wes, Wayne and Ken

We continue to provide hospitality for four guests: Wes, Wayne, Kenny & Mark. We also continue to visit former guests who are in the hospital.

Finances

We need your help and contribitions.

It is with a daily awareness that we live on faith with few financial resources. Each month we pay the bills with contributions that are bestowed upon us. At this time we have $1,000.00 in the bank account and our rent, due March 1, is $650.00. Whatever is left pays for utilities and house operating costs.

Our Humble Thanks

We are extremely thankful and grateful for the sacrifices that so many of you make to keep OCW afloat and operating each month. And, it is with continued humility that we ask: if you are able, please consider a donation of any size to aid the Work of Mercy at the OCW.

God Bless you all. Peace.
