Dear Friends of the Omaha Catholic Worker:

We soon Celebrate the beginning of our 6th year as a Catholic Worker Community for the Works of Mercy.

WE dream the impossible dream. All things with God are possible.

We pray earnestly that someone, or a group of someones would be able to purchase this house for us as a free donation. OR: purchase this house and sell it to us on a Rent to option deal or Contract for deed.

If we had this house, we could also START a Creighton University Student live-in Volunteer program for 3 students., in exchange for Room and Board.

The price they WERE asking, but no longer WAS 239,500. It is presently off the Market.

We got an email:

Dear Mr. Ebner,

We received your letter today regarding our property at 4816 S. 13th St. At this time, our house is off the market, but we would still consider selling it. If you would like to make us an offer, we would be willing to listen.

Please let us know your thoughts and we'll go from there.
