Nonviolence Reading and discussion group: We are looking for people interested in a reading and discussion group on Christian Nonviolence: We are suggesting first reading any of the books by Fr. John Dear SJ on Nonviolence. Please check out his web site at: www.johndearsj.org. If you are interested in such a reading and discussion group, please call and let us know. We continue on in faith, that our generous and loving God will provide for the needs of the poor. We are in need of both new community members to live here and share life, and also financial gifts to keep us afloat. All of our bills have been paid for the month of March. We are encouraging people to consider a regular pledge once a month. Recently we have received a great donation from St. Gerald's parish and look forward to encouraging other Catholic parishes to do the same. |
