War Resisters Go To Court

Greetings to you.
Three Catholic War Resisters go to Trial for Peaceful Protest at
Douglas County Court this month for Prophetic Prayerful Nonviolent witness against
Space Weapons Conference exclusively sponsored by STRATCOM/ OFFUTTAFB.
This event was at the Qwest Center on October 10, 2007
The Strategic Defence and Space Weapons Conference was held at the Qwest Center
on October 10th. Peg Gallagher and Fr. Jack Mc Caslin and Jerry Ebner were arrested
and released on that day. They have had a preliminary court date where Jack
Mc Caslin and Jerry Ebner plead not guilty. They were offered a $50 fine, if
they plead guilty and so they declined this plea offer agreement.
Friday Dec 14th At Douglas County Court Room # 27 17th and Farnam Streets, Omaha,
NE , Fr. Jack Mc Caslin and Jerry Ebner will go to trial starting at 9 am. This
is a violation of a City of Omaha ordinance.
Peg Gallagher is going to trial on Dec 28th Friday Feast of the Holy Innocents
at Douglas County Courtroom #27 at 9 am at 17th and Farnam Street, Omaha, NE.
She was given a different court date.
We have all pled not guilty. We do not feel that what we have done in a Prayerful
and Prophetic spirit of Christian nonviolence was a crime.
We hope at this late date that maybe some of you would be able to be there at
court for these dates. If not, we do understand because of the the late notice.
